NEXT FULL TIME PR COURSE - Monday 13th September 2010

Full-Time intensive PR ITOL-Approved Diploma course:   Monday 13th September 2010

The training will consist of over 30 hours of classes during the two-week course. The sessions will be organized as a series of lectures, interspersed with guest speakers, class discussion and group exercises. The examination will take place a week later (week 3) to allow time for revision. In additional to class sessions, it is recommended that course delegates spend a further 2 – 3 hours per day reading through the course materials. For overseas delegates that are unable to remain for the 3rd week, please inform us in advance, in order for special arrangements can be made for the exam.

The course is suitable for people with a minimum level of intermediate English – if in doubt about your level of English, please call or email the Course Director for verification. A good command of the language is recommended - if in any doubt, please contact teh Course Director.

  • The process of PR & Integrated Marketing Communications (using case studies)
  • Strategy & Planning - research and target audiences, stakeholders analysis
  • Internal Communications
  • Identifying Risk, Issues and Crisis Management
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Corporate Identity
  • Reputation Management
  • Brands and Brand Management
  • Sponsorship and Event Management
  • Media Relations I (different types of media and writing press releases)
  • Media Relations II (the techniques and communication methods with the media)
  • Media Evaluation & Media Analysis
  • Revision of the main topics in preparation for the two-hour examination
